Advent calendars live or die by their daily reveals, and this one's uneven enough that you'll hit a few duds before you hit a winner — a C feels right for a $45 Star Wars box that asks you to care about a micro TIE Fighter on day nine.
Is the price fair?D$44.99 for an advent calendar is a lot to ask when half the builds are afterthoughts.
Will you love it?C+Enjoyable as a December ritual, less so as a standalone LEGO® experience.
Holds its value?B-Advent calendars have a mild resale floor — not a growth play, but not nothing.

The Full Take
The 2024 Star Wars Advent Calendar is exactly what the line has always been: a mix of genuinely cool minifig surprises and filler micro-builds that make you wonder who approved them. Six minifigs across 24 doors is a reasonable haul, and a few of the figures land well enough to justify keeping them out after December. The micro-builds range from charming to forgettable, and at $44.99 the price feels stretched — past years delivered comparable content for less. As a seasonal tradition it still works, especially for kids who haven't burned out on the format. But if you're buying purely for the collectible minifigs or the build experience, neither payoff is strong enough to carry the price tag on its own. A C overall is fair: not broken, not special, just a familiar box doing a familiar thing.
