Based on 21 reviews · thin
A mid-size Star Destroyer that nails the silhouette without asking you to remortgage — the familiar wedge shape looks sharp on a shelf and seven minifigs sweeten a fair $160 ask.
Is the price fair?A-Fair for the nameplate — $160 buys the silhouette without the UCS guilt trip.
Will you love it?B-Solid Star Wars shelf piece, but the build won't stick with you the way the display will.
Holds its value?BHolds steady, but don't expect fireworks — it's a slow simmer, not a spike.

The Full Take
The Imperial Star Destroyer name carries serious weight in LEGO® Star Wars history, and this 2024 entry finds a comfortable middle lane: big enough to display with pride, affordable enough to not feel like a punishment. Seven minifigs is a generous complement for this price point, and the iconic wedge silhouette does exactly what you need it to do from across the room. The build itself is competent without being revelatory — experienced builders will move through it steadily, but it won't surprise them. Where this set shines is as a starter Star Destroyer for fans who balked at the UCS price tags; it delivers the vibe at a fraction of the commitment. Resale is steady rather than electric, so this is a set you buy because you want it on your shelf, not because you expect it to fund a vacation.
