Yoda's Starfighter is a charming little ship that LEGO® has the nerve to charge $35 for — 253 pieces should not cost this much, full stop. The build itself is fun and the minifigs land, but the price tag is where this one stumbles hard.
Is the price fair?F$35 for 253 pieces is Star Wars tax working overtime.
Will you love it?BCute ship, solid minifigs, a genuinely enjoyable build — it's a B for a reason.
Holds its value?C+Jedi Starfighters have a middling retirement track record; don't bank on a big pop.

The Full Take
There's a lot to like here: the Eta-2 Actis-class design translates well at this scale, Yoda comes with his lightsaber, and the cockpit detail punches above its size. The build is a breezy afternoon session — satisfying enough, nothing that'll tax you. But $34.99 for 253 pieces in 2023 is a tough sell when the secondary market hasn't rewarded patience on previous Jedi Starfighter releases either. The C+ overall score reflects a set that's pleasant but not special, priced like it thinks it is. If you're a Star Wars fan who wants Yoda on the shelf, this delivers exactly that — just know you're paying a premium for the IP, not the brick count. Catch it on sale and the calculus improves considerably.
