The build captures BB-8's round form with a clever sphere technique that's more satisfying to assemble than it looks in the box photo. That said, the finished model sits a little awkward on a shelf — the proportions read better in photos than in person, and it's not the first thing guests notice. One minifig inclusion feels almost like an afterthought at this scale and price point. Builders will find some interesting geometry, but the repetition in the sphere sections can drag.
