The monster truck design does its job — chunky wheels, a pop of color, a fun silhouette that kids actually recognize. But at $9.99 for 55 pieces, you're paying a premium for the license to call it 'City' more than for the plastic in the box. One minifig and a vehicle this small lands somewhere between impulse buy and disappointment depending on who's opening it. Kids who love trucks will get five good minutes of build and then a solid play piece — that's not nothing.
