Monster trucks have a simple appeal: big wheels, loud attitude, and a kid who loses their mind when they see one. This City version nails the silhouette well enough — it's recognizable, it rolls, and the proportions feel appropriately oversized and goofy. The build is short, though, and seasoned fans will clock that this one wraps up fast with not much novelty along the way. At launch, the price felt padded for what you got — 192 pieces rarely justifies a $20 ask without a strong minifig lineup or a memorable technique to show for it. One driver, one truck, done. It's not a bad set, just a lean one. Kids into trucks will get a few good afternoons out of it, but adults shopping for themselves should probably look elsewhere in City.
