The Full Take
Few vehicles carry as much gravitas as Grave Digger — the lightning bolts, the ghoulish green, the history. LEGO®'s Technic take captures the silhouette well enough that it reads as the real thing from across the room. But crack open the bag and the building experience is lean: 263 pieces at this scale leaves most of the interesting work undone. There are no standout techniques, no mechanisms worth talking about, and no minifig to sweeten the deal. At $34.99 the price is about as fair as this kind of licensed Technic set gets, which is the one thing working squarely in its favor. The crowd it fits best is a younger monster truck fan who just wants the thing on their shelf — not a builder, not a collector, not a flipper.
