The Grave Digger name carries decades of monster truck royalty, and LEGO® leaning into that IP at a $19.99 entry point shows some awareness of where casual fans live. The problem is the model itself: at this scale and piece count, the proportions feel stubby and the mechanical detail that makes Technic satisfying is mostly absent. There's no real suspension travel, the iconic skull-and-lightning livery is reduced to a handful of stickers, and the finished model sits on your shelf looking like a placeholder for a bigger set. Fair price, sure — but fair for what, exactly? Technic builders will feel the thinness of the experience, and display collectors will struggle to make it look intentional next to anything more substantial. It's a novelty built around a famous name, and the name is doing most of the heavy lifting.
