A grand hotel for Heartlake City that charges grand hotel prices — 1309 pieces and a solid B overall, but that D on price stings when the shelf result doesn't quite match what you paid.
Is the price fair?C-A hundred dollars for a Friends set that doesn't quite deliver a hundred-dollar wow moment.
Will you love it?BMulti-story layout with real interior rooms — there's a lot of set here to fall into.
Holds its value?C-Flat secondary market; Friends has fans but this specific set isn't a sleeper hit.

The Full Take
The Heartlake City Grand Hotel is one of the more ambitious Friends builds LEGO® has put out — multiple floors, interior rooms, and enough detail to make it feel like a destination rather than a backdrop. The build itself is genuinely satisfying, with distinct spaces that reward patience. Four minifigs is light for a set this size, and at $99.99 the price-to-payoff ratio leaves you wanting more. Shelf presence is real: this thing has height and color and looks complete from across the room. Kids get a lot of imaginative real estate to work with — a lobby, rooms, a pool area — so play sessions don't run out of steam fast. The resale story is middling; Friends sets move, but this one hasn't shown the legs to excite flippers. Buy it because the hotel itself earns the counter space, not because the math works perfectly.
