Venom is one of Marvel's most visually striking characters, and LEGO® clearly knows that — the mech silhouette leans into that chaotic, toothy energy. The problem is 29 pieces doesn't leave much room to deliver on the promise. At this price, you're paying for the license and the minifig more than the build itself. The mech feels skeletal rather than substantial, and experienced fans will clock that in about fifteen minutes of assembly. That said, the Venom minifig has real shelf appeal, and kids who love the character won't care about piece count. It's not a bad set — it's just priced like it thinks it's more than it is.
