DATABASE-2017

This one's not for the playroom — zero minifigs, minimal pieces, pure archival purpose. A+ for the adult collector in your life, a hard skip for anyone under twelve.
Is the price fair?A+Free-to-cheap territory for what amounts to archival closure — hard to argue with that.
Will you love it?A+If you feel the itch to have every year accounted for, this scratches it completely.
Holds its value?C-Placeholder sets don't tend to command secondary-market premiums — buy it for the collection, not the upside.
The Full Take
Some sets exist to be built. This one exists to fill a gap in the record — a 2017 placeholder that rounds out a collection rather than demands attention on its own. Forty-two pieces of catalog housekeeping doesn't scream display centerpiece, but for the collector who needs the full picture, the absence of this would nag. The A+ reads on price and love aren't about the parts; they're about what this represents in a complete run. It's the footnote that serious collectors underline. Appreciation is soft, and that's the honest tradeoff — you're buying completeness, not a future windfall.
