A 20-piece starter set with no minifigs sounds like a tough sell — but at its price point, it's a clean, low-stakes entry into City that doesn't pretend to be more than it is.
Is the price fair?BFair for what it is — no surprises, no padding.
Will you love it?BIf you're five years old, this is a great afternoon. If you're not, it's a shrug.
Holds its value?C-Promotional small sets rarely do much after retirement — this one's no exception.

The Full Take
'Gear Up For Action!' is exactly what it looks like: a small, unpretentious City set aimed at the youngest end of the LEGO® spectrum. Twenty pieces means the build wraps up fast, but for a toddler or early builder, that's a feature, not a bug. The lack of minifigs is a real gap — City lives and dies by its characters — but the set's price keeps the sting manageable. It won't anchor a display shelf or fuel a collecting habit, and resale holds about as well as you'd expect from a promotional-tier set. Call it what it is: a fine first brick experience or a low-pressure gift, not a centerpiece.
