The Full Take
This set exists in a weird, wonderful lane: part book, part LEGO® kit, aimed squarely at kids who want to do something with their hands while soaking up Batman content. The 21 pieces won't challenge anyone over age six, but that's not the point — this is an entry drug, a gateway brick, the thing you grab alongside a birthday card. At its price point, it's one of the easier LEGO® purchases you'll make all year. The A+ overall score is almost entirely carried by how well-priced and well-targeted this thing is. Just don't confuse 'great value' with 'great set' — it knows exactly what it is and delivers that cleanly.
