The Full Take
City polybags live and die by how well they nail one tiny slice of real life, and a construction worker with a plate compactor is about as slice-of-life as it gets. The build is modest but the subject matter is oddly satisfying — this is the kind of worker you walk past at a road crew and never think twice about, now immortalized in plastic. Twenty-six pieces isn't a lot to work with, but the compactor reads instantly and the minifig is clean. It's not a centerpiece, it's a supporting cast member — and that's exactly what it sets out to be. At its price point, the bar is low and it clears it comfortably. A C- hold grade means you're not buying this as an asset; you're buying it because it made you smile at checkout.
