The Miner polybag is one of those sets that lives or dies on the minifig, and this one delivers a solid City worker with gear that fits the role. Thirty-six pieces get you a small cart and some rocky scenery — nothing that'll stop traffic on a shelf, but functional as a desk companion. The build itself is over in minutes, which is fine for what this is; polybags were never meant to be an afternoon project. Where it stumbles is the price-to-payload ratio: even by polybag standards, this one asks a lot for what shows up in the bag. As a loose addition to a larger City mining layout it clicks into place, but standing alone it's a tough sell at full retail. The minifig alone might be the entire justification for picking this up.
