Darth Maul in minifig form hits different — the double-bladed saber alone makes this worth keeping. Seven pieces is barely a build, but the figure itself carries the whole package.
Is the price fair?BFair for a character-forward release, but you're paying for the IP, not the parts.
Will you love it?C+The fig is great; the 'set' around it is basically nothing.
Holds its value?BMaul's staying power in Star Wars lore keeps secondary market interest alive.

The Full Take
This is a character drop, not a building experience. Darth Maul's minifig is sharp — the face printing, the saber, the horns — and that's exactly what LEGO® is selling here. At seven pieces, the 'set' is really just the fig with a display stub, so go in knowing that. The B overall holds because the minifig quality is genuinely good for what it is, and Maul has enough cultural pull to keep demand steady. If you're a Star Wars collector plugging gaps on a shelf, this does the job cleanly. If you want a satisfying build session, this is not your afternoon. It's a character piece, priced like one.
