The Republic Fighter Tank exists in that awkward polybag zone where the subject matter is cool but the execution barely justifies the plastic it's printed on. Forty-four pieces gets you a recognizable silhouette at best — nothing that reads as finished on a shelf or satisfying in the hand. No minifigs means no play hook for kids, no display anchor for collectors, nothing to justify the price premium LEGO® slaps on Star Wars even at this scale. The build itself takes maybe eight minutes, and not the good kind where you're admiring a clever technique — just stacking bricks until it's over. A D overall feels right: the IP is doing all the heavy lifting and it's still not enough.
