Polybags exist for a reason — impulse buys, gift-with-purchase, a small thrill — and the Resistance A-wing fills that lane without pretending to be more. The problem is when you hold it up against what a shelf display or a satisfying build actually requires, this one comes up short on both counts. Forty-five pieces go fast, and 'fast' here means minutes, not the good kind. No minifig means no pilot, and a pilotless starfighter is a weird thing to display or hand to a kid. The appreciation score is where things get mildly interesting — secondary market data shows this one climbing, which says more about Star Wars collector demand than about the set's quality. Build it if you find it in a bin, but go in with calibrated expectations. This is a snack, not a meal.
