The TIE Interceptor is one of the sleekest ships in the Star Wars universe, and LEGO® has done it justice in bigger sets before — which makes this micro version feel like a missed opportunity. At 42 pieces with no minifigure, there's not much here to justify the sticker price; you're paying a premium for the license, not the build. The model itself is recognizable enough on a tiny scale, but it won't fool anyone standing next to a proper UCS build. Kids get limited play value out of something this small and fragile, and collectors aren't exactly rushing to display a polybag-sized ship. It's the kind of set that works best as a freebie with a bigger purchase, not as a standalone buy. A C+ overall is about as charitable as the math allows.
