The Full Take
The B-wing is one of Star Wars' most visually striking ships, which makes this version hurt a little more. Fifty-two pieces gets you a shape, not a model — nothing here will fool anyone on a shelf. There's no minifig, no interesting build technique, nothing that lingers after the ten minutes it takes to finish. The one genuine surprise is that secondary market appreciation has been quietly strong, landing this an A- for investors even as every other lens bottoms out. That's a strange legacy for a set this thin: more valuable retired than it ever was new. If you're a fan of the B-wing, the UCS version is the one that deserves the shelf.
