The Slave I is one of the coolest ships in Star Wars history, and this set does it almost no justice. At 31 pieces with zero minifigs, it's barely a model — more like a placeholder until you buy the real thing. The price for what's here is hard to defend; you're paying for the license and not much else. It doesn't display with any presence, it doesn't give a builder anything to chew on, and a kid would lose interest in about four minutes. The C on holds-value keeps it from being a total write-off, but that's a thin silver lining on an otherwise bleak little set. Skip this and put the money toward a Slave I worth shelf space.
