The Full Take
The LEGO® Ninjago Movie tie-in wave had some gems, and then it had this — a movie-making kit that sounds cooler than it builds. The clapperboard prop and film-strip display are mildly charming, but the actual construction is thin for the price. One minifig at $19.99 puts this in uncomfortable territory where you're paying mostly for the concept. Kids with a creative streak might squeeze some fun out of the roleplay angle, but it fades fast. The theme's energy doesn't save a set that was always more marketing accessory than genuine LEGO® experience. A C is about as generous as you can be here.
