Sixteen minifigs in a single Monkie Kid set is borderline absurd — and somehow the sprawling city layout earns every one of them. A B is the honest score, but this one's got energy that numbers alone don't capture.
Is the price fair?BNot a steal, not a rip-off — you're paying full freight for a flagship and that's exactly what it feels like.
Will you love it?BDeep in the Monkie Kid universe and it shows — casual fans may bounce, devotees will dig it.
Holds its value?CMonkie Kid has a passionate base but limited crossover, so don't bank on this one aging into gold.

The Full Take
Megapolis City is the kind of set that rewards the fan who's been along for the whole Monkie Kid ride — the city scale, the character density, the sheer chaos of it all clicks when you know who everyone is. Sixteen minifigs is a genuine crowd, and LEGO® actually spread them across the build rather than burying them in a corner. The construction itself runs hot and cold: some sections feel inventive, others feel like filler padding toward the 2330-piece count. At $189.99 the price sits in that uncomfortable zone where it's not outrageous but it's not a layup either — you feel it a little. Still, nothing else in the Monkie Kid lineup matches this for sheer density and world-building on a shelf. If you're in on the theme, this is the centerpiece it was built to be.
