The Full Take
The Fire Station Headquarters does a lot of things right: six minifigs, a chunky modular layout, and enough truck-and-ladder action to keep a kid busy for hours. But LEGO® priced this one like the building has a doorman. For a City set, the build is competent without being inspired — familiar techniques, familiar forms, nothing that makes you stop and stare mid-build. On a shelf it reads as 'big City building' rather than a genuine centerpiece, which is fine for a playroom but underwhelming for anyone hoping for display gravitas. The F on price is the real story here: the set isn't bad, the value just doesn't clear the bar at what they're asking. If you catch it discounted, the B- experience becomes a lot easier to justify. As it stands, the C overall feels about right — a solid City staple that costs more than it should.
