'Starter Set' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here — this is a slim fire station at a price that doesn't match its ambitions. The build is charming enough, but the F on price is hard to shake.
Is the price fair?FF-grade pricing on a starter-level set is a tough sell no matter how you cut it.
Will you love it?B+Compact and fun enough that a kid who gets it won't complain — that B+ is real.
Holds its value?C-Starter sets rarely hold; don't count on this one breaking the trend.

The Full Take
The Fire Station Starter Set has a likable premise: give kids a taste of City emergency play without committing to a flagship build. Three minifigs, a compact station, a little truck — it checks the boxes on paper. The problem is what LEGO® charged for those boxes. At 239 pieces, the price tag sits in a range where better, bigger sets are easily within reach, and that context is brutal. The build itself is fine — nothing offensive, nothing memorable — and kids who get it will play with it. But 'fine' and 'play with it' aren't a strong enough argument when the value math is this lopsided. A C+ overall feels fair: likable set, rough deal.
