The Full Take
Star Wars busts live or die by shelf impact, and this one shows up looking the part — the Sith Trooper design is sharp enough in red and black to turn heads. But 484 pieces at the original price point was a hard pill, and the build underneath doesn't reward you the way the Vader or Stormtrooper busts did. No minifig, no surprise part, no clever internal geometry to talk about after — just a relatively straightforward stack that wraps up and leaves you wondering if there's more. The C- on love signals a set that's fine without being memorable, which is a rough place to land when you're asking collector money. Resale has stayed middling, so there's no financial upside smoothing over the experience. For die-hard Sith Trooper fans it's a defensible shelf piece; for everyone else, the math never quite clicks.
