The Full Take
The BMW M3 E30 is motorsport royalty — a homologation special that defined touring car racing in the late '80s — and this Speed Champions treatment nails the proportions well enough to recognize it from across the room. At $29.99 it sits in that comfortable range where you don't overthink the purchase, you just grab it. The single minifig is standard for the line, nothing surprising there. Build-wise it's a Speed Champions set through and through: satisfying enough for an evening, not a weekend. The real win here is the subject matter; the E30 M3 carries cultural weight that makes it look good on a shelf even to people who don't collect LEGO®. Where it stumbles is long-term value — Speed Champions retire quietly and this one shows no signs of being an exception. Buy it because the car is iconic, not because the box will be worth something.
