The Full Take
Norbert has charm — the dragon design is endearing and the egg-and-cradle presentation reads well on a shelf. But 483 pieces at $49.99 with no minifigs is where the goodwill runs out fast. There's no Hagrid, no Harry, no context — just a standalone creature build that asks a lot of your wallet for what it delivers. The Harry Potter line has pulled off great creature sets before, but those came with enough scale or detail to justify the ask. Norbert doesn't quite get there. It's a nice object, not a great set, and the gap between what it costs and what it is makes it hard to recommend without hesitation.
