The Hogwarts lake and the foreign school ships look genuinely sharp on a shelf, and the five minifigs cover some fan-favorite faces from the Goblet of Fire arc. But $139.99 is a hard sell when the build stops short of feeling complete — a tournament set that teases the spectacle without fully delivering it. The techniques are competent without being memorable, the kind of mid-tier LEGO® build that goes together smoothly and leaves no real story to tell about the process. Where it partially redeems itself is on the secondary market side: Harry Potter sets in this price bracket have a track record of quiet appreciation after retirement, so the B- hold grade isn't accidental. If you love this chapter of the Wizarding World it will look right on your shelf, but the price tag was set for a more impressive set than this one turned out to be.
