The Full Take
The Triwizard Tournament doesn't get nearly enough LEGO® love, so the Black Lake finally showing up feels like a win for fans who've waited years. The underwater build leans into the murky, threat-filled atmosphere of the second task — merpeople, the grindylow, the whole scene. Five minifigs for this price point is a reasonable haul, and the gillyweed Harry is the kind of variant that actually matters to collectors. The build itself won't blow a seasoned builder's mind, but the set is doing something specific and doing it with reasonable conviction. At $44.99 it's a touch high for 349 pieces but the IP and the minifig lineup carry some of that weight. It holds a B overall because it fills a genuine gap in the Harry Potter lineup without embarrassing itself. Fans of the films will find more to love here than casual buyers.
