Early read · 4 reviews
The Battle of Hogwarts in 740 pieces sounds epic until you realize you're getting a courtyard skirmish, not a war. Strong minifig lineup saves it from being a miss, but $79.99 is a stretch for what lands on the shelf.
Is the price fair?B+Fair-ish, but you'll feel the gap between the price and the scale every time you look at it.
Will you love it?B-Potter fans will connect with the minifig roster; everyone else might want more set for the money.
Holds its value?BSteady enough — Harry Potter IP keeps floors from dropping, but don't expect fireworks.

The Full Take
Six minifigs including Harry, Voldemort, and Neville make this feel like a genuine climactic showdown — and for a Harry Potter fan, that trio alone has pull. The build itself captures the crumbling Hogwarts aesthetic with some satisfying stonework, even if the overall footprint is more diorama snippet than grand finale. At $79.99 it's not a steal, but it's not highway robbery either — it sits in that frustrating middle zone where you want to love it more than you do. The courtyard layout works as a display piece if you have a dedicated Potter shelf, though it won't anchor a room on its own. What this set does well is mood: dark, rubble-strewn, and unmistakably the final act. Casual fans will enjoy the build weekend; deeper collectors will quietly wish LEGO® went bigger. A solid B — worth it for the right person, not a must-buy for everyone.
