Few sets spotlight the Thestrals, which makes this one feel like a gap-filler for serious Harry Potter collectors. The carriage itself is a tidy little build — nothing revolutionary, but it reads cleanly on a shelf next to Hogwarts-era pieces. At $19.99 for 121 pieces, the price is the one place this stumbles; you're paying for the IP and the creature design, not the brick count. The two minifigs are fine, though they won't move the needle for anyone already deep in the line. Where it wins is that Thestral model — spindly, eerie, and surprisingly expressive for its scale. It's a niche pick, but the right niche will absolutely want it.
