The Full Take
The Mosaic-style buildable figures concept is genuinely striking on a shelf — Harry and Hermione side by side at this scale carry real visual weight. But $120 for 1673 pieces with zero minifigs and no secondary play value is a tough pitch outside of die-hard collectors. The build itself is methodical and satisfying in stretches, though it leans repetitive toward the end — you're stacking a lot of similar layers to fill out those robes. Display presence is strong if you have the real estate; these aren't small. Secondary market performance has been modest, which makes this a passion purchase more than a portfolio move. If you love the IP and want something different from the castle sets, it scratches an itch no other Harry Potter set does. But at full retail, you're paying a premium for sentiment.
