The book format is a cute gimmick, but $29.99 for 256 pieces and three minifigs in Charms Class feels like LEGO® charged a licensing premium and called it a day.
Is the price fair?DLicensing markup is doing a lot of heavy lifting at $29.99 for this little.
Will you love it?C+Charming concept, thin execution — the novelty fades faster than the price tag suggests it should.
Holds its value?C+Middling retirement prospects; Harry Potter has a floor, but don't bank on this one popping.

The Full Take
Hogwarts Moment sets live and die by their concept, and the book-that-opens idea is genuinely charming the first time you see it. Charms Class delivers a tidy little scene inside — floating keys, a tiny chalkboard, Flitwick on his stack of books — and the minifig selection is solid for Harry Potter completionists. The problem is the price tag, which sits noticeably high for what you're actually holding. At 256 pieces, the build wraps up fast and the exterior is basically a brick-built cover with a crest — there's not much to linger over. The play pattern is limited once the novelty of opening and closing the book wears off, which it will. It's not a bad set, just one that asks you to pay a premium for a format trick rather than for substance. Harry Potter fans will find something to like; everyone else might want to wait for a sale.
