The Full Take
The Hogwarts Moments line had a genuinely fun concept: crack open a hardcover book and find a miniature classroom inside. Potions Class executes it well enough — the cauldrons, the color palette, the tiny ingredient details all feel on-theme. But 271 pieces at $29.99 is where the charm starts to wobble; the classroom feels sparse when you close it up and really look. Three minifigs (Dumbledore, Snape, and a student) keep it grounded in the actual Hogwarts experience, and Snape in particular is a draw for collectors of the character. The build itself is pleasant and fast — this is an afternoon project, not a weekend one. As a shelf piece it's better than photos suggest, but as a value proposition it asks you to love the concept more than the execution.
