The Hogwarts Moments series had a clever pitch: a buildable book that opens into a themed classroom. Potions Class delivers on it with a cozy little scene, a cauldron, and three minifigs — Snape included — which is genuinely punchy for a set at this price. The book-closed display mode is what makes the line special; it looks deliberate on a shelf rather than like a half-finished diorama. The build itself is compact and won't tax anyone, but that's the point — this is atmosphere over engineering. Where it stumbles is the overall payload: 271 pieces doesn't leave much room for detail, and the open scene feels a touch sparse. Still, for $30, the minifig lineup alone carries a lot of weight, and the format has real charm for Harry Potter fans who want something displayable without committing to a $200 castle.
