The Helicarrier is back — bigger, newer, and somehow still not worth $400. The build runs long and the finished model has real presence, but LEGO® is asking a lot for what amounts to a flying deck with six minifigs.
Is the price fair?B-Four hundred dollars for a flying runway with six minifigs is a hard sell, full stop.
Will you love it?CThe build is a marathon in the best sense — the finished product is more background piece than showstopper.
Holds its value?CNothing in the secondary market history of Helicarriers suggests this one breaks the pattern.

The Full Take
This is the set that should have been a slam dunk. A S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier at 3,057 pieces with six minifigs sounds like must-buy Marvel — until you see the $399.99 sticker and start doing the mental math on what you're actually getting. The build experience is the highlight, genuinely one of the longest and most involved in the Marvel lineup this year, which counts for something when you're deep in a weekend session. On the shelf it reads as a statement piece, but the silhouette is more functional than architectural — it won't stop guests in their tracks the way a Colosseum or Eiffel Tower does. Six minifigs for a set at this price point is thin, and the overall design leans utilitarian in a way that keeps it from feeling premium. It's not a bad set — it's a mid set wearing a flagship price tag. Buy it for the build journey; just go in with clear eyes.
