846 pieces, zero minifigs, a hundred bucks — whatever Marvel scene this builds, it ships without a single character to live in it. That's the whole story right there.
Is the price fair?A+Shockingly fair for the piece count — the pricing is the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating package.
Will you love it?FA Marvel battle set with zero figures is a promise this set cannot keep.
Holds its value?C-No minifigs means no character-driven demand at retirement — this one fades fast on the secondary market.
The Full Take
An Avengers set with no Avengers. The 'Epic Battle' name promises a showdown, but when you crack the box you're building scenery while the actual cast is apparently optional. At $99.99 for 846 pieces, the pricing is shockingly fair — this is one of the better-priced Marvel releases in recent memory — but fair pricing on an incomplete experience only softens the blow so much. There's nothing here for a display collector who wants figures anchoring the shelf, and playability without minifigs is a hard sell for kids. The build itself might have clever bones, but LEGO® handed you the stage and forgot the actors.
