$100 for a jumbo Spider-Man figure that clocks in at 821 pieces is a tough sell — LEGO®'s brick-built heroes have a checkered history, and this one doesn't flip that script.
The parts alone are worth about 158% of the MSRP — the basis for this C price read.
BargainThe parts alone are worth more than you pay — $158 of parts for $100.
Brick-built hero figures occupy a weird middle ground: too display-forward for most kids, too toyish for serious collectors, and this one lands squarely in that awkward space. At $99.99 for 821 pieces, you're paying a premium for a format LEGO® hasn't fully cracked yet. The figure itself will read fine on a shelf — Spider-Man's colorway pops — but 'fine' is a hard thing to spend a hundred dollars on. The build experience is competent without being inspired; don't expect the clever engineering of a Botanical or a Technic flagship. There's one minifig in the box, which feels like an afterthought at this price. Secondary market history on LEGO®'s large hero figures is mixed at best, so patience isn't guaranteed to pay off here either. A D+ overall is the honest read: not broken, just not worth it at launch price.
