Mysterio versus Spider-Man at the Daily Bugle is a genuinely good matchup, and LEGO® leans into the play side hard here. Seven minifigs at this price point is generous on paper, but the build itself is more playset scaffold than display piece — open-backed, action-oriented, functional. The 789 pieces land in competent-but-unremarkable territory for a hundred dollars; it's not a rip-off, but the value math is close enough to feel like a push. Kids who love Spider-Man will find a lot to do with this. Adult collectors hoping for a finished, shelf-ready Bugle façade will probably walk away wanting more architecture and less play action.
