$69.99 for a mask with no minifig and 487 pieces is a tough sell — LEGO®'s helmet line has set a high bar, and Miles Morales' mask doesn't clear it on price or presence.
Is the price fair?DSeventy dollars for a maskwith no minifig and under 500 pieces is genuinely hard to defend.

The Full Take
The helmet/mask format has produced some of LEGO®'s most striking shelf pieces, but this one stumbles at the register before you even open the box. Seventy dollars for 487 pieces and zero minifigs asks a lot, especially when the Iron Man or Darth Vader helmets deliver more visual drama for similar or less money. The build experience is the one genuine bright spot — at nearly a 7 on engagement, it's a solid afternoon project with enough shaping work to keep your hands busy. But once it's done, the mask sits a bit flat on a shelf; it lacks the iconic silhouette punch that makes the best helmet sets instant eye-catchers. Miles Morales is a beloved character with a passionate fanbase, and that affection will carry some buyers over the finish line despite the price. For everyone else, this is a set where the heart wants it and the wallet hesitates — and the wallet isn't wrong.
