The Full Take
The Iron Man and War Machine duo has been criminally underrepresented at accessible price points, so seeing both armors together under $25 is worth noting. The set doesn't pretend to be more than it is — a battle pack-style skirmish with a clean villain concept in the Hammer Drones. Build-wise it's lean and unchallenging, the kind of thing you finish before dinner and forget you started. Display presence is modest; nothing here anchors a shelf the way a UCS piece does. But the minifig pairing is the whole pitch, and for Marvel fans who just want the characters on a desk without dropping $80, it lands. The B- hold grade suggests some upside as an entry-level retired set — not a vault pick, but not a throwaway either. For what it costs, the ceiling is higher than the set deserves credit for.
