Dancing Groot has one job — be charming — and the motorized head-bobbing delivers exactly that. It's a C+ set at a B- price, which means the vibes are there but don't expect much beyond the gimmick.
Is the price fair?BFair-ish — you're paying for the motor, and that's a real cost, but the parts aren't exactly premium.
Will you love it?C+Cute for about a week, then it's just a bobblehead you can't wind up manually.
Holds its value?C+Middling resale potential — novelty items retire fast but don't always spike.

The Full Take
The whole pitch is a five-second elevator pitch: Groot dances, you smile, done. LEGO®'s motorized head-bobbing is a clever trick that lands harder than you'd expect from a 459-piece build, and the I Am Groot posture reads instantly from across the room. But once the novelty wears off, there isn't much else here — no minifigs, no alternate build, no layered techniques to appreciate. The sculpt is soft and chunky, built for broad appeal rather than shelf sophistication. For a Marvel fan who just wants something fun on a desk, it punches fine; for anyone hunting depth or display gravitas, the C+ overall tells the story. Fair price for what it is, just don't expect it to be more than what it is.
