New Captain America Construction Figure

A buildable Captain America figure sounds cool until you're holding a blocky 14-inch construction figure that feels more like a stepping stone than a centerpiece. There's a place for these, but that place isn't everyone's shelf.
Is the price fair?B+Fair for what it is, not a bargain you'll brag about.

The Full Take
LEGO®'s buildable figure line has always been a niche product chasing a specific kind of fan — and the New Captain America hits that target squarely in the middle, no better or worse. At 360 pieces you get a chunky, poseable Cap with the shield, designed more to sit on a desk than to impress a room. The construction is straightforward, leaning on large structural pieces rather than clever techniques, which keeps it accessible but doesn't reward the experienced builder. It's $34.99 for something that reads as a mid-tier gift — not a bad one, just not a memorable one. Marvel fans who already love the character will get more mileage out of it than anyone approaching it cold. The C across the board isn't a roast — it's a set that does exactly what it promises and nothing more.
