The Full Take
Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters deserves a monument, and at 3093 pieces this is LEGO®'s best shot at giving it one. The problem is 'best shot' and 'great set' aren't the same thing — $329.99 puts this in premium territory where every weakness gets magnified. Ten minifigs sounds generous until you look at the lineup and start mentally negotiating which characters you'd have swapped. The build itself is sprawling but not especially inspired, more architectural checkbox than showpiece craft. Display potential is real if you have the shelf space, but the exterior reads more 'generic manor' than Xavier's estate to a non-fan walking by. At a C across the board, this is a set that satisfies the completionist itch without lighting anyone on fire. Die-hard X-Men fans will find reasons to love it; everyone else will find reasons to wait for a sale.
