The Spider-Man Advent Calendar earns its B- by doing the core job well: Marvel fans get a countdown worth opening. Five minifigs is a generous haul for a calendar format, and the daily-reveal structure keeps kids (and adults) coming back through December. The price is where it stumbles — $44.99 for 255 pieces is a tough sell when comparable advent sets offer more for less. The micro-builds filling the non-minifig doors range from charming to forgettable, which is pretty standard for the format. If you're a Marvel household this is a near-automatic buy; if you're on the fence about the theme, the price won't push you over.
