The Leviathan crashing through a portal mid-flight is exactly the kind of scene-in-a-box LEGO® rarely nails — and this one mostly does, at a price that doesn't make you wince.
Is the price fair?ASolid spread of figures and a sizable model — $49.99 feels calibrated, not generous, but it's not a stretch either.
Will you love it?C+Fun concept, middling execution — the Leviathan looks the part but the build won't leave a lasting impression.
Holds its value?C+Common Marvel IP, no rare figures, no retirement buzz — don't park money here expecting it to move.

The Full Take
Battle sets usually feel like an afterthought, but The Avengers vs. The Leviathan has a concept worth showing up for: a giant alien serpent mid-portal-breach, surrounded by five Avengers ready for the chaos. The build leans into the scene more than the structure — don't come expecting complex techniques, but the Leviathan model has enough bulk and menace to read clearly on a shelf. Five minifigs at $49.99 is solid headcount for the money, and the character lineup skews classic enough to feel relevant for years. Playability is the real win here — kids can stage the exact Battle of New York moment they've seen a hundred times. It won't be a grail, and flippers shouldn't expect a payday, but as a set that does what it promises without asking too much, the B lands fair.
