The X-Jet is one of Marvel's most iconic vehicles and LEGO® somehow made it feel like an $84 afterthought — 359 pieces at that price is a tough sell when the model itself looks more display case filler than centerpiece.
Is the price fair?C-Paying nearly $85 for a 359-piece set stings — this one needed to be either cheaper or bigger.
Will you love it?C+The X-Jet shape is there, but the build won't blow you away — it's a fine set, not a great one.
Holds its value?C-Secondary market enthusiasm for Marvel vehicles is historically modest, and this one's unlikely to break the pattern.

The Full Take
The X-Men have been waiting a long time for a proper LEGO® moment, and the X-Jet is the obvious flagship vehicle to deliver it. At $84.99 for 359 pieces, the pricing undercuts the excitement before the box is even open. The jet itself has the right silhouette — swept wings, that distinctive dark blue — but the build doesn't reward you with the complexity or detail that justifies the cost. Four minifigs is a reasonable crew but none feel particularly exclusive or hard to get elsewhere. This sits solidly in C+ territory: good enough to scratch the X-Men itch, not good enough to make you forget what you paid.
