The Full Take
Three A-list Marvel villains and heroes crammed into a $35 set is a good pitch on paper, but the race car concept feels like a shrug compared to the characters packed inside. The minifig lineup is legitimately the star — Venom and Green Goblin together at this price point is hard to argue with. The build itself is quick, uncomplicated, and won't blow anyone away, but it's also not trying to be a display centerpiece. At 227 pieces the box feels a little thin for the asking price, which is where the D+ on value stings. For a kid who wants to smash these characters together, none of that matters — the play scenario writes itself. Collectors, though, will notice the set leans more on the IP than on any design ambition. A solid B overall because the character selection saves what the build alone couldn't.
