A Marvel dogfight at $37.99 with Rocket behind the controls — this one punches above its sticker, and the Ronan minifig alone justifies the shelf space.
The parts alone are worth about 211% of the street price — the basis for this A+ price read.
BargainThe parts alone are worth more than you pay — $57 of parts for $27.
Rocket's Warbird is one of those sets that quietly over-delivers. The ship design captures the Guardians-era aesthetic without feeling like a budget placeholder, and the Ronan minifig is a genuine standout in the Marvel lineup — not a character you see often. At 290 pieces the build is a Saturday afternoon, not a weekend commitment, which can cut both ways depending on what you want from a session. The price sits comfortably in the fair zone, and for a Marvel vehicle set, that's not a given. Display potential is real if you have the shelf for it, though the Warbird won't stop a room the way a UCS piece does. It's a solid, fun set with two strong characters that rewards the casual Marvel collector more than the hardcore builder.
