Avengers Tower is one of those sets that sounds better on paper than it feels in person. Thirty-two minifigs is a headline number, but pack the roster with five Iron Man variants and a bunch of supporting cast fillers and the thrill fades fast. The build runs long — 5,200 pieces will keep you busy — but the techniques lean repetitive rather than inventive, floor after floor of similar window-wall stacking. On the shelf it reads as big rather than dramatic; the proportions feel compressed compared to the cinematic tower it's meant to recreate. At $500 it lands in that uncomfortable zone where it's not cheap enough to impulse-buy and not impressive enough to feel like a flagship. A C across the board is about right — not broken, just never quite living up to its own ambitions.
